Sandris Rugums

Sandris is the founding partner of Eventus Corporate Finance. With a broad-based background in a variety of industries, he has led many of the most complex and innovative corporate finance deals, debt and equity related transactions in Latvia. He has more than 10 years of investment banking experience and more than 40 successfully completed corporate finance transactions.

Prior founding Eventus Corporate Finance, Sandris worked at the first foreign investment fund in Latvia: Norwegian-Latvian Business Development Fund. Throughout his assignment at the fund, he has been involved in investing in various small and medium size companies. He has also served as a member of the Council/Board of numerous companies.

In addition to his present position, he is currently also the Board Member of BR Invest (holding company), Montenegro SPV (managing company of the venture capital investment fund Montenegro Investments), and Belgrade Investments (a real estate development fund).

Mr.Rugums holds a BSc degree in Economics and Engineering from Riga Technical University.
